Boston St Nicholas C of E Primary School
Year 3/4 Oak

Welcome to Oak Tree Class!

This is such a short term so we're going to be very busy! We are continuing our topic of Tropical Rainforests and looking at both the people that inhabit these exciting places as well as the various habitats that exist here (and around the world).
In Literacy, we are researching information texts and producing our own on creepy crawlies! We are finding patterns in Numeracy and improving our multiplication tables.
On Thursday 27th February, the air in Oak Tree class was definitely tropical! Had you visited, you would have been able to taste some very unusual fruit indeed. As part of the school's Healthy Eating week, we were looking, feeling and, best of all, tasting unusual fruit as we made a Tropical Fruit Salad. The children got to taste, amongst other things: papaya, passionfruit, pineapple, mango, kiwi, strawberries and the most unusual of all .... dragonfruit! Many thanks to those parents who came in and helped out.
